ABOUT Laurier Accounting Association
The Laurier Accounting Association (LAA) is the one stop shop for everything accounting at Laurier. With over 400 students who took part in LAA’s events during the 2018-2019 year, we strive to connect with the growing number of students in the Lazaridis Students’ Society. Through working closely with leading national accounting firms and distinguished local firms, LAA aims to educate students about the opportunities available in the accounting profession and prepare students for the workforce. In doing so, LAA hosts a variety of events, such as the Business Leaders Conference and Leaders in Industry, to build the knowledge, skills, and network of the bright young minds that exist at Laurier.

At this event, students have the opportunity to gain insight into the world of accounting in industry. This event will feature a keynote speaker and a series of workshops run by sponsors relating to important aspects of being in the workforce.
